One thing that we do consistently in our house is enjoy our daily smoothies! It's such a great way to get a lot of nutrients and I find them to be a delicious treat that I look forward to eating every day.

This green smoothie is packed with nutrients like healthy omega 3 fatty acids, minerals, vitamins, and protein. In the recipe you will see my recommendation for all the ingredients we use in our smoothies. We take careful consideration for quality and sourcing when choosing food, you can find more ideas on my amazon page.

Green Smoothie Recipe:
  • 1/2 cup or 4 oz. Unsweetened Coconut Milk, Unsweetened Almond Milk, or water
  • 1/2 banana
  • 1/2 avocado
  • 1 celery stick
  • 1/4  spinach
  • 1-2 slices of lime or 1-2 drops of lime vitality essential oil
  • 1 serving hemp protein
  • 1 tablespoons chia seeds or flax seeds (pick one or alternate choice)
  • 1 tablespoon of coconut oil or MCT oil
  • 1 serving collagen

Tips about the recipe:
  • Add a drop or two of lime vitality essential oil. Add the dietary supplement essential oil once you pour the smoothie into your glass cup or bowl. Do not use essential oils with plastic.
  • I always prepare smoothies for two because of my husband. If your making a big smoothie just double everything. For example, 1 banana, 1 avocado, add more celery, chia etc.
  • Add more water or almond milk if you prefer more of a drink than eating with a spoon
  • Remember, there's no rules when you're making smoothies. If your missing an ingredient or feel like skipping one then just leave it out and add something if you're feeling it.
  • Lastly, just have fun!
