DIY Bug Off Spray That Works!As I have discussed many times before, I love being outside surrounded by nature. Forest bathing and enjoying healthy doses of sunlight exposure can do wonders for the body and the immune system. However, warmer weather tends to come at an expense. Bugs! ​ ​My Bug Off Spray is a household favorite that we use on not only ourselves, but on the dogs as well. It is better to enjoy our walks in the park, bonfires, beach days, and pool days without all the annoyance of insects buzzing and the fear of those little blood suckers from biting. I have found that there are so many essential oils that assist in keeping those things away, so I make my own bug off spray. Before we walk out the door, everyone gets a mist of the "Bug Off" Spray, even our dogs Kasey and Harper. We have found that it really works. ​ Ingredients for Bug Off Spray:

Our Journey Thus Far
We have been using Young Living for several years now. We feel that using a "Bug Off" spray with essential oils is the best choice for our wellness in mind. We feel that this recipe is a much better way to support being outside and continue to avoid chemicals in our home than monthly concoctions some may apply to their animals. With all the cuddling we do in our house with our dogs, there's no way we wanted the harmful and unknown ingredients on their fur, on our skin, or pillows. This recipe is the perfect way to support everyone in our home with proper dilution.
