My husband and I both have dedicated our lives to the health and wellness field through our education. What comes to great surprise is the information thats been discovered outside of collegiate courses. We are at a day in age where free information is at our finger tips. The books, articles, blogs, and the podcasts have truly impacted our lifestyle. I personally love listening to podcasts as a source of learning. I have a hard time sitting down to read books, although I still try when I hear a recommended book mentioned in a podcast. However it takes me forever to get through them. Podcasting is much easier for me to do and I find it a great tool to use to make your life a little more efficient. You will often find me listening to podcasts on my car rides, during household chores, or even during a shower. I have interest in listening to experts discuss how to better our lives, physically or mentally. There's so many free resources available to learn more about maintaining a healthier lifestyle and it's my goal to share with you where I have come across information that has changed my life. Cutting-edge science, new research and studies being explained and reviewed is very interesting to us and I feel it has truly helped us navigate changes that make a big difference in health. I try to take information learned through these sources to explore the research out there. We listen and then look into things discussed, then try our best to implement something healthier to limit the exposure of unhealthy choices or behaviors in our lifestyle. These podcasts and their websites have provided so much information and influenced our life greatly over the last five years. I have changed a lot of things in my lifestyle and diet based on information that I have been informed about over the years from these podcasts.
