How to Make an Invigorating Exfoliation ScrubYou may see this DIY recipe all the time and that is because it's so enjoyable and very easy to make! If you haven't made or experienced a DIY body scrub for yourself yet then it it time! You need to try this today. It's truly one of my favorite spring and summer self-care recipes. During this time of year I love to use self-care recipes to support my skin before the summer months. Let's not forget about the simple importance of self-care in general. It's always important to remember to practice self-care in your lifestyle because it will build a healthy relationship with yourself. I have found that taking time for you helps produce positive feelings and emotions which are known to contribute to overall well-being. Doing things for our emotional and physical health can build self-confidence, self-esteem, improve our body image, impact relationships, help manage stress, and have many other positive benefits too . Personally, I just feel good when I use my body scrub in the shower and it's something so simple. Add it to the morning to help get your day going the way you want it or give yourself a relaxing finish to the day. Have you ever given excuses for why you don't do things for you? Guess what, with this recipe and practice you do not need to add anything extra into your busy schedule. The recipe takes a minute to whip up if it's not made already and the self care practice doesn't require time out of your schedule either. Using this DIY body scrub with essential oils that promote positive and calming environment through their aroma can be just what you need to pamper yourself. Body scrubs make your skin look refreshed and rejuvenated by removing dead skin cells. Exfoliation also helps moisturize as it allows for the easy absorption of a skin moisturizer into your now healthy skin. I prefer to make my own DIY Body Scrub to ensure that I create a scrub that works wonderful without unwanted ingredients. Remember why we DIY in the first place, it's to avoid putting fragrance and harmful chemicals onto our skin so that they are not absorbed into the body. I know, it sounds nasty right! My exfoliation body scrub recipe is simple and really only requires three ingredients: sugar, carrier oil, and essential oils. Having a well-cared for body can make you feel good physically and mentally. The aroma of the essential oils may have properties that support relaxation which can make this recipe part of your stress management to support overall well-being. It's time to give yourself a little pampering and revitalize yourself! These DIY body scrubs can actually be made with sugar or salt and are beneficial because the exfoliation will stimulate circulation, cell regeneration, and collagen production. I like to pair the energizing sugar or salt scrub with smooth skin supporting essential oils. Be sure to avoid applying too much pressure when using your scrub. Use a body scrub a few times a week.
