How to Make Homemade "Luscious Lash" Serum
Instead of wasting money on lash extensions and the refills that they come with, I'm here to share a simple DIY recipe to use every night for healthy-looking lashes!
It can be challenging to incorporate self-care when worrying about harmful ingredient or health risks. I believe we have to be aware of our exposures and limit unwanted risks. Remember, ingredients matter. Especially the ones that we interact with everyday. All of my DIY recipes help me personally limit my exposures to the unwanted ingredients. The DIY Lash Serum is an easy recipe to add to your self-care routine to boost your eyelashes and brows. Ingredients for DIY Lash Serum:
Directions to make DIY Lash Serum: Add Rosemary, Lavender, and Cedarwood essential oils to the empty 10 ml mascara tube. Next add the optional ingredients if you desire. If you are adding supplements, use a pin to make a whole in the capsule and squeeze out the liquid Vitamin E or CoQ10 into the 10 ml container. Then fill the rest of the container with castor oil. Apply on eyebrows or eyelashes every night for healthy looking eyelashes. Don't forget the essential oils! The properties of these essential oils may support healthy eyelashes! Lavender, Rosemary, and Cedarwood may support healthy hair. Cedarwood does triple duty for self-care. Here are three more ideas to incorporate Cedarwood: Add a few drops to your moisturizer or favorite skin care products for healthy-looking skin. Massage a drop into scalp or add a few drops to your conditioner bottle for that healthy-looking skin! Lastly, add cedarwood to a calming and comforting diffuser or roller blend. Lavender is a popular essential to complement some of your favorite shampoos, lotions, or skin care products. The soothing and calming properties make it a desired essential oil to help unwind during my nighttime routine. Even add it to a diffuser blend to enhance the experience of self-care. Add few drops to your moisturizer or favorite skin care products for healthy-looking skin. Rosemary, also a familiar aroma thats popular in aromatic and personal care products. Young Living suggests to combine 1 drop Rosemary with 4 drops V-6™ Vegetable Oil Complex. Dip a cotton ball in the solution and apply to a freshly washed face to help cleanse. I'm going to have to try this! Also, try to add a few drops of Rosemary to shampoo or conditioner for healthier-looking hair.
