DIY Coffee Scrub
Yes, you heard that right . . . coffee scrub!
It's time to reuse the coffee as part of your skin care routine. It's another great skin scrub that always has great reviews at my team make & take workshops! I take a lot of pride in sharing and educating my team which is why choosing the right leader is important. I believe that everyone is capably of quality products that have your wellness in mind and do not need to cost you a lot of money. I'm coming from a prettyfrugal household, so these recipes are simple, effective, and usually pretty affordable! One thing that will get you closer to eliminating harmful ingredients is by understanding what to look for on labels. As women, we really need to take a look at our personal care products because of the amount that we use. If we are sticking to the traditional products, there could be over 300 chemicals applied to the skin within one hour of waking up each day. I know some people may say that a small amount is nothing to worry about, but applying chemicals to my skin for an entire lifetime seems like an unnecessary risk. I know that I am reducing the exposure to unwanted things when I am purchasing though Young Living and crafting my own recipes using the essential oils. This coffee scrub is a favorite for a spring and summer skin care workshops. Since coffee has a variety of properties it makes it very good for a scrub. There is some research that says using coffee grounds is a great way to support skin because of the antioxidants found in coffee. Not only will coffee possibly stimulate healthy looking skin but the abrasive grounds will also act as an exfoliate to help remove dead skin which will allow for healthy skin turnover. So next time you're dumping the coffee grounds put them in a class jar to save for this recipe! DIY Coffee Scrub Ingredients:
