DIY Sugar Scrub Recipe
It’s the time of year where cinnamon is part of every recipe. Cinnamon Bark essential oil creates a warm and comforting aroma which is why I enjoy adding a drop to some of my DIY fall recipes.
As the holidays and winter months approach it’s important to remember to treat ourselves with self-care. I know from experience, there seems to be a little more stress around the holidays. By taking an extra step of care in your routine with a simple sugar scrub may support healthy skin appearance but may also help create an inviting and calm environment. Let’s have some fun creating one of the easiest DIY skin care products with your seasonal essential oils while giving yourself a little more self-care in the process. To avoid harmful ingredients we have had create success making our own skin care products using our essential oils. We always encourage the path to optimal health and wellness is to become aware of unknown ingredients. This recipe is a great way to turn unknown ingredients, into known ingredients!
I enjoy the fall sugar scrub in the shower because my hands, elbows, and legs feel softer, smoother, and moisturized when taking time to exfoliate with this easy recipe. I keep a large mason jar in the shower for convenience.
