Creative Welcome Bag Ideas

A common complaint I hear from event hosts is that they struggle to come up with unique ideas for welcome bags for guests. Personally, I think that the mere thought of giving a welcome bag speaks volumes and the contents are secondary. However, some folks like to create the perfect gift.

By popular demand, here are...

13 Simple Ideas for the Best Welcome Bag (not in any particular order)

1. Himalayan Salt Scrub
Salt or sugar scrub feel great on your skin. I use these in the shower on my legs, arms, and even a little on my lips.

Here’s what you need:
  • Essential Oils
  • Himalayan Salt
  • Fractionated Coconut Oil
  • 2 oz glass jars
  • Salt Scrub Sticker Label
  • Salt Scrub Label Vinyl

To make a large batch of himalayan salt scrub pour about 3 cups into a large bowl. Then stir in fractionated coconut oil to create combination of salt and fractionated coconut oil making a wet sand consistency.  Once you find the right consistency, I fill the glass jars with mixture then add essential oils. I add 3 drops lavender and 3 drops peppermint to each 2 oz glass jar.

2. After sun spray
The perfect spray for your skin after a long day in the sun.
You will need:
  • Essential Oils
  • Unscented Thayers witch hazel
  • 2 oz glass spray bottle
  • 2 tbsp of aloe vera gel
  • After Sun Label

First add a little witch hazel to the 2 oz spray bottle, then add 10 drops lavender and 10 drops peppermint, vitamin e (optional), 2 tbsp of aloe vera gel, and fill the rest with water.

3. Bug Spray
In a 2 oz bottle add 10 drops of lavender, 10 drops Citronella, and 10 drops of geranium. Add a squirt of witch hazel and fill the rest with water.  There are a lot of other essential oils to use such as purification, lemongrass, and peppermint if you want.
Tools:
  • Essential Oils
  • Unscented Thayers witch hazel
  • 2 oz glass spray bottle
  • Bug Off Label
  • Etsy best seller, bug off label

How about a "room spray" or a "bathroom spray"?!
Our cabin we only have one bathroom so it can be scary for guests. Hand out room sprays to use in the bathroom to help everyone feel comfortable covering up those smells.

This requires:
  • Essential Oils
  • Unscented Thayers witch hazel
