How to Use Thieves for Everyday House Cleaning

Use Thieves Essential Oil for an Effective Natural Cleaning Solution

I feel like I am always, and I mean always, cleaning up the house. Doesn't it feel like we are constantly washing the dishes, doing laundry, picking up toys, cleaning up mud, and containing household messes? It seems like the moment the house gets clean and tidy, it almost instantly returns to a state of disarray. 

I used to be worried about my dogs when I cleaned around the house. I often refer folks to the EWS website when thinking about common household products that contain known health risks. Most of these products contain known harmful ingredients readily recognized by the WHO, NIH, CDC, and other major global or national organizations. This begs the questions, then how can they continue to formulate their products this way? Well, they still do and nothing has stopped them so far!

This is truly where I got my husband into considering essential oils. I initially introduced our household to Thieves cleaner and this has become a staple in our daily home use. In my opinion, the introduction of Thieves Household Cleaner made going “green” simpler than I could have imagined. ​

This Household Cleaner is formulated with Thieves and Lemon essential oils. This cleaner has been my go-to for all cleanup tasks from kitchen, to bathroom, to living room. I threw away all other cleaning products and replaced them with Thieves Household Cleaner for all our cleanup needs. I love that Young Living make is super COST EFFECTIVE. The 14.4 ounce bottle of concentrate is about $28 retail (it is $22 dollars if you signup with a member of our team as a wholesale member where I will assist you every step of the way) and it is extremely concentrated. We have found this to be extremely economical as one bottle will make several months worth of complete household cleaning solution, at minimum! You are likely going to be saving significant amounts of money by switching to making your own soaps, detergents, and spray cleaners compared to store bought items. Therefore, do not let the price tag fool you into thinking essential oils are too expensive! 

Here is how you I use my Thieves Cleaner:  I like to use 16 oz glass spray bottles to use for my cleaner. I add about one capful of Thieves Household Concentrate to the glass spray bottle then fill the rest with water. The mixture with one capful of the concentrate cleans about everything in my house, but you can certainly make it a stronger concentrate if you need to clean something tougher. One bottle of Thieves Household Cleaner has approximately 60 capfuls, which is why it’s so affordable. My 22 dollars makes about 60 bottles of cleaner for my house. If I were to buy 60 bottles of any other cleaner, I might spend close to $240 on other name brand products. I'll repeat, this household cleaner lasts forever and again replaces just about every single cleaner in your home. I no longer have to worry about who's hands and feet touch what and where they go after or who grabs the cleaner because guess what it's not harmful!

It is actually relieving to know that the products under my sink are no longer dangerous to anyone in my home!  It honestly has given me peace of mind knowing that not only is my cleaner SAFE to use around our family and our pets. Here are Some Helpful Conversions for Comparing the "Sample Packet" to Capfuls of Thieves Household Concentrate

• 1 capful of Thieves Cleaner is about 10 ml
• 1 ounce of Thieves Cleaner is about 30 ml
• 1 teaspoon of Thieves Cleaner is 5 ml
• 2 teaspoons of Thieves Cleaner is "1 capful"

***This means that the sample packet in the Premium Starter Kit is enough Thieves Household Cleaner concentrate for 3 bottles of cleaner!
